An amazing (and sobering) analysis of the British terror plot by Craig Murray, the former British Ambassador to Uzbekistan.

We heard this on the radio in LA. Comes out of a public radio station in Santa Monica. Arianna Huffington, Robert Scheer and some folks from the "other sides" as well. Check it out. KCRW, Santa Monica "Left, Right and Center" show.

The Wayne Madsen Report

As Stephanie Miller says, "Let's Hear It for the Boy!" Keith Olbermann does one of the few liberal shows on Main Stream Media. There's nonsense mixed in with the hard news; you may end up knowing more than you wanted about K-fed, but that's not all bad. It helps with the smalltalk and in trivia games of the future; but he's often the only one out there on main stream television with some very important stories.

Stephanie Miller  can be streamed live Monday through Friday 6-9 a.m. and parts of her show can be heard on the Daily Blog page.

Bush Social Security Plan Would Cut Future Benefits
By Jim VandeHei and Michael A. Fletcher
President Bush called on Congress last night to curtail future Social Security benefits for all but low-income retirees in an urgent new effort to address the popular program's shaky finances.

With virtually every Democrat, as well as many Republicans, opposed to his plan for private investment accounts, Bush sought to shift the focus of the Social Security debate to a new proposal that would reduce benefits more as workers' incomes rise.
